What is a Carbon Laser Facial?

This great anti-aging treatment involves a layer of liquid carbon being applied to the face. This penetrates deep into the pores of the skin. The carbon is then blasted away by a laser. When the laser blasts away the carbon, it removes dead skin cells. The heat from the laser targets the dermis and causes the skin to contract and stimulate the production of collagen.
The process exfoliates the skin, reduces the size of pores and evens out skin tone as well as plumping, brightening and softening the skin resulting in a radiant complexion.
This facial is particularly beneficial for those with oily skin, because it reduces the bacteria which cause acne and it also causes sebaceous (oil) glands to shrink.

You may experience slight reddening of the skin but this disappears after a few hours and aloe vera gel is great to use for soothing it. Whilst your skin is red, it is best to avoid make up but after that you can put make up on again, although it is recommended you avoid putting anything oily on your skin so as not to clog up the pores again.
